Uluslararası Dil Hizmetleri Tercümanlık ve Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi (UDH) 1987 yılında İstanbul'da kurulmuştur. UDH yetkin dil uzmanlarıyla hızlı ve güvenilir çözümler sunmakta ve tüm iş ortaklıklarını güven temelinde inşa etmektedir.
UDH çevirmenleri tüm metinleri bir bilim insanı titizliğiyle ele alır. Güvenli teknolojik alt yapıya sahip işletmemiz, müşterilerimize en üst düzey gizliliği garanti eder. UDH, iş dünyasının zamana verdiği önemin bilincinde ve makul bir fiyat karşılığında kaliteli çeviri hizmetleri sunar. UDH kalitesinin göstergesi müşteri portföyünün çoğunluğunu 30-35 yıllık müşterilerin oluşturmasıdır.
Bu terimce çalışması, Turgut Ağar'ın hemen hemen tüm meslek yaşamı boyunca biriktirdiği arşivin ve bilgi birikiminin bir sonucudur ve çevirmenlik mesleği profesyonellerinin ve çeviri öğrencilerinin karşılaştığı sorunlara çözüm sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu terimcenin bir diğer özelliği de çıkış ve kaynak dilinin Türkçe olması ve Türkçe'den diğer dillere gitmesidir. Bildiğimiz kadarıyla Türkiye'de Türkçe'den Latince kökenli dillere terimce çalışması daha önce hiç yapılmamıştı. Bu açıdan bu terimcenin bir boşluğu doldurmasını da bekliyoruz.
Terimce çalışmasını yaparken sadece terimlerle sınırlı kalmanın mümkün olmadığını, terimlere dayanak oluşturan sözcüklerin de açıklanması ve terimce kapsamına alınması gerektiğini fark ettik. Ayrıca, tüm dillerde fiillerin ne kadar önemli olduğunu dikkate alarak terimcede fiillere de ağırlık verdik. Bu sebeple, terimce giderek büyüdü ve zaman içerisinde daha da büyüyeceğini umuyoruz.

This terminology is a product of archives and know-how gained and acknowledged by Turgut Ağar throughout his professional career, and aims to provide a solution for the problems encountered by professional translators and interpreters and academy students. Another feature of this terminology is that its source language is Turkish and goes from Turkish to other languages dealt with therein. As far as we know, in Türkiye, nobody has so far produced such a terminology going from Turkish to Latin–based languages. That is why we expect this terminology to fill in this gap in the literature.
What's more, during production of this terminology, we realized that it was not possible to limit ourselves by only terms and expressions, and therefore, we also needed to include and describe the words forming a basis for the terms. In addition, considering the importance of and the central role played by verbs in all languages, we also gave weight to verbs in the terminology. At the end, the terminology expanded step by step, and we hope it will further grow and expand by time.
